Screener

Filter the bond universe across currency, sector, rating, maturity, yield, and more. The screener is your primary entry point for discovery.

The header funnel

At the top of the screener, three numbers tell you where you are in the funnel:

ChipWhat it counts
UniverseEvery bond in the database, regardless of price availability.
PricedBonds with a recent price. Click to toggle the filter on/off. Amber when active.
PassedBonds that match your current filters. Always ≤ Priced (when toggle is on) or Universe (when off).
The Priced toggle defaults to ON. Most users want actionable bonds — recently priced means recently tradable. Toggle off to include bonds with no recent price (often new issues, defaulted / delisted, or thinly-quoted local-market issues).

Avg yield, Avg dur, Avg Sherpa fit (Pro), Net flow 5d (Pro)

Right of the funnel: aggregate statistics computed over your current filtered set. Avg duration excludes perpetuals — see Glossary for what perpetual means.

Filter rail

Left side on desktop, bottom-sheet on mobile, "Filters" button on tablet. Every filter writes to the URL so screens are shareable and refresh-stable.

FilterNotes
CountryISO2 code or country name. Looks at the issuer's country of incorporation.
CurrencyDenomination of the bond, not the fund holding it. Multi-select.
SectorSherpaBonds taxonomy — Financial, Industrial, Telecom, Utilities, etc. Mapped from the underlying issuer classification.
RatingComposite rating bucket: AAA, AA, A, BBB, BB, B, CCC, NR. Bucket includes ± modifiers (e.g., BBB = BBB+/BBB/BBB-).
Yield (min/max)Yield-to-maturity range, in percent. Bonds with no recent yield are filtered when this is set.
Coupon (min/max)Stated coupon range, in percent. Useful for filtering zero-coupon or floating-rate exposure.
Maturity (from/to year)Year-only range, inclusive. Perpetual bonds are excluded when this is set.
Structure144A / Reg S markers. Inferred from the bond's name/description.
Fit min/max (Pro)Your Fit score range. Applied client-side to the visible page only — see Your Fit.
Flow min/max (Pro)5-day net flow in millions USD. Applied client-side to the visible page.

Columns explained

ColumnWhat it shows
SecurityIssuer name + coupon + maturity (e.g., "Apple Inc 3.85% 05/2043"). Perpetuals show "PERP" instead of a year.
ISIN / CUSIPThe most useful identifier the bond carries. ISIN preferred; CUSIP fallback. Never a synthetic internal ID.
CCYCurrency of denomination.
MATMaturity year. Renders "Perpetual" for bonds with no scheduled redemption.
PXLatest mid price as a percent of par. Quoted clean (excludes accrued interest).
YLDYield-to-maturity in percent.
±BPBond yield minus benchmark, in basis points. Reference depends on the bond's currency — see Glossary.
FIT (Pro)Your Fit composite score. Click any row to see the breakdown.
FLOW (Pro)5-day net flow into this bond across the tracked panel, in millions USD.
ACTIONQuick affordances — open bond, add to watch, add to portfolio.

Column header arrows show sort direction. Click a header to toggle ascending/descending. Some columns (Flow, Fit, ±BP) sort the current page only.

Views

  • List — default tabular view. Fast paginated scan.
  • Cards — visual cards with bigger badges. Same data, different layout.
  • Curve — yield-vs-tenor scatter for the filtered set. Each dot is a bond; hover for identity. Useful for spotting cheap/rich relative to peers.
  • Heatmap — sector × tenor grid showing count of bonds in each cell. Density view; click a cell to filter to it.

Heatmap and Curve aggregate the entire filtered universe (not just the visible page). They load only when you switch to those views.

Presets & saved screens

Apply your filters, then click Save preset in the toolbar to bookmark the current shape. Saved screens appear in the screen switcher at the top of the screener. Each preset captures: filters, sort, view, and the count of matching bonds at the time of save (so you can see how the universe has moved).

Density & page size

  • Compact / Comfort — row height. Compact fits ~2× more bonds per screen.
  • 25 / 50 / 100 per page — pagination. Higher numbers show more bonds but render slower on slower devices.

Tier caps

The number of rows visible to you depends on your plan:

PlanMax rows visibleSherpa Fit / Flow columns
Anonymous25Hidden
Free (signed in)100Hidden
ProUnlimitedVisible
The cap is on visible rows, not the filtered count. Even with the cap, the funnel header always shows the full Passed count — you can see how many would be there if you upgraded.

Sharing

Every filter writes to the URL. To share a screen, copy the address bar — recipients see exactly the same filtered universe (subject to their own tier caps and price quotas).
